Making Travel Joyful (and Doable!) for Families with Autistic Students

Travel doesn’t have to feel overwhelming when you have a child with autism. In fact, with the right support and planning, it can be a truly meaningful and joy-filled experience for the whole family.

As a Certified Autism Travel Professional™, my goal is to help families take the stress out of vacation planning and turn travel into something everyone can look forward to. I understand that some destinations, schedules, and environments work better than others—and I’m here to help you navigate those details with confidence and care.

Here’s how I support students with autism and their families:

? Pre-Trip Planning with Confidence
I help families prepare with customized tools like visual schedules and travel tips to build comfort and reduce uncertainty—so everyone feels more ready and relaxed.

?️ Thoughtful Hotel and Resort Choices
I work with properties that offer sensory-friendly accommodations, quiet zones, and staff trained in autism awareness, ensuring your child feels safe and supported.

?️ Flexible, Enjoyable Itineraries
Whether your student thrives with structure or needs more breathing room, I design trips that balance stimulation with rest—making it easier for everyone to have fun.

? Inclusive Fun for the Whole Family
From theme parks to beach escapes, I aim to create experiences that let everyone enjoy, connect, and make memories—without leaving anyone behind.

✨ Why It’s Worth It
Travel offers students with autism a chance to explore, learn, and grow. And it gives families a chance to laugh, relax, and rediscover the joy of time together—on your terms.

If you’re a parent, therapist, or educator supporting students with autism, I’d love to be a resource. Let’s work together to create travel experiences that feel exciting, safe, and truly unforgettable.
