Services
We provide personalized autism services for teens and young adults in and around Phoenix, Arizona. Our one-on-one sessions and small group learning opportunities focus on building independence through transitional living skills such as money management, job readiness, self-advocacy, daily living routines, and community integration. We also offer social skills groups to support friendship-building and confidence. Services are provided in the home, through online sessions and in the community to help teens and young adults apply skills in real life settings.
Why I started the Business
Autism Services for Teens and Young Adults was started because too many families face the “autism services cliff,” where support and resources drop off dramatically once teens enter high school or transition to adulthood. This gap leaves many young people and their families without the guidance they need to prepare for the future. We are passionate about filling that gap by providing meaningful, practical services that help teens and young adults build independence, confidence, and life skills. Every individual deserves the opportunity to live a full, independent life to the best of their ability, and our mission is to make that possible.
Veda Collmer, OTR/L is the founder and driving force behind our autism services for teens and young adults. With years of experience as an occupational therapist, Veda had seen firsthand how difficult the transition into adulthood can be when services fall away during high school. She created this business to bridge that gap and to ensure that autistic individuals have the tools and support they need to succeed beyond childhood.
Occupational therapists are uniquely trained to help with this transition because we focus on the whole person, not just the skills, but also the environments, supports, and routines that help individuals thrive. A major part of this work includes executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, planning, and flexible problem-solving, all abilities that are essential for success in work, school, and daily life. From job readiness and daily living skills to self-advocacy and social participation, we empower autistic teens and young adults to build confidence and independence in real-world settings.
