I specialize in teaching dyslexic, struggling, or emerging readers through a highly effective Orton Gillingham approach. Our program is multi-sensory, systematic, direct, explicit, and comprehensive, designed to unlock the reading potential in every child.
Dyslexia Testing Specialist: As a certified teacher, Reading Specialist and a Dyslexia Testing Specialist, I conduct thorough Dyslexia screenings to assess if a child fits the Dyslexia profile. Based on the results, I provide tailored school and home recommendations to help children advance in their reading skills.
Online Reading Classes: I offer Online Reading classes twice a week, providing students with the opportunity to experience a breakthrough in their reading abilities. These classes are designed to foster confidence, improve reading skills, and instill a love for reading.
These services aim to empower students to overcome reading challenges and embark on a successful reading journey.
Why I started the Business
I started my online reading tutoring business because I have a deep passion for helping children learn to read and become successful readers. Witnessing the transformation of students who initially struggled with reading, as they break through challenges and gain confidence, is what truly drives me. I find immense joy in seeing my students grow in confidence and develop a love for reading.. I am a compassionate, kind, and experienced Reading Specialist and a Dyslexia Testing Specialist.

Hello, I’m Mary Medina, a dedicated and compassionate certified teacher with a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years. My journey as an educator has led me to specialize as a Reading Specialist and Dyslexia Testing Specialist, and I am wholeheartedly committed to guiding students on their path to becoming accomplished readers.
My passion for teaching stems from the profound joy I find in helping students unlock the world of reading. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless students break through barriers and achieve success in their reading journeys. It’s these moments of transformation that continue to inspire and motivate me in my work.
Beyond my role as an educator, I’m also a wife and a mother of three wonderful children, including special needs little ones. This aspect of my life has provided me with unique insights and a deep understanding of the diverse needs and challenges that children and families can face. It reinforces my belief in the power of education to make a difference in every child’s life.
