Breathe Easy Learning provides in-person tutoring across the West Valley, based in Surprise, Arizona. We offer sessions in your home or at local libraries, with online options available for specific needs.
Academic Tutoring: Personalized tutoring in reading, writing, math, and social-emotional skills for grades K-8th. Instruction is adapted to your child’s needs using provided curriculum or supplementary resources. Our approach focuses on building strong foundational skills and fostering confidence, ensuring academic and social growth. We tailor each session to individual learning styles, promoting engagement and measurable progress.
Weekly Small Groups: Get ready for weekly enrichment group classes starting Summer 2025! We’ll be focusing on essential social-emotional skills, mindfulness for self-regulation, and the Zones of Regulation.

Why I started the Business
I founded Breathe Easy Learning to pursue my love of teaching and witness student growth firsthand. Tutoring offers the opportunity for personalized instruction, allowing me to build strong connections and guide each child towards academic success. My goal is to support families in their educational endeavors, helping every student thrive.

About Me
While I have Wisconsin roots (Go Packers!), Arizona is now home, where I met my husband (an Arizona native). Life is busy with two babies! We love country dancing, watching the Diamondbacks, and family time.
As a K-8th grade Special Education teacher with 8 years of classroom experience, I ‘ve worked with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. Holding bachelor’s degrees in Elementary and Special Education, with certification in Emotional Behavioral Disabilities, I’m passionate about creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. My background includes research in mindfulness for self-regulation, training in Zones of Regulation and Yoga4Classrooms, and certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, all contributing to my commitment to fostering academic and social growth. I believe creating a calm, mindful environment is essential for academic and social success.
