Hi, I’m Jody Balian. I am a dedicated mom who has been through hell and back trying to find the best means to educate my children and am incredibly blessed to have finally found a program that is helping us ALL thrive (not just my kids but me too!). I have 2 girls: a 12 year old who struggles with ADHD but is wildly creative and super smart and an active 8 year old who loves dance, fashion and picks up almost any skill before you can blink! Having 2 children that are incredibly different (which is super common) can be rather challenging when trying to educate them together. Our first 6 years of homeschooling went from pretty good to total meltdown. Then we tried Charter School and while there were some pros, there were a ton of cons. So we tried a different one, but sadly kids being mean, teachers overworked and rather hog tied to be able to do anything about it, and admin not wanting parents involved at the school, created torturously emotional days at school which shuts the brain down from learning. And on the other front, all the “help” I was told I could get in schools for special needs felt like fighting my own impossible battle. With my B.A. in Child Development, I knew that this was not going to help my children thrive. Finding this program was truly a godsend for our family that was breaking down from the stress and emotional turmoil of these educational environments and methods. We are now working together as a family, motivated to achieve some significant goals, and excited about what is before us!
