Services
We provide one-on-one AND in-person reading, writing, and spelling tutoring for students of all ages. Our specialty is working with students diagnosed with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, or other learning disorders. We are located in Peoria, Surprise, and Queen Creek/San Tan Valley.
Why I started the Business
My time as a public-school teacher taught me one thing…even the most dedicated and hardworking teacher or reading interventionist cannot provide the individualized, customized instruction some students need to be successful. That is why I left the public-school arena to create an encouraging environment where the student’s needs are first and foremost. I spent countless hours working towards my Orton-Gillingham and EBLI certifications and continue to study research and best practices when it comes to teaching all ages how to become beyond proficient in reading, writing, and spelling.
I have worked hard to build a small team of certified teachers, also trained in Orton-Gillingham and certified in EBLI, who have a passion and heart for teaching all learners to read.

About Me
I am a former public school teacher with 17 year’s experience in the classroom. My favorite part of teaching was, and continues to be, the children. So, my priority when tutoring is always asking myself, “What is best for this student?” Your child will get the individualized support needed to progress them along the reading continuum.
I am certified in the Orton-Gillingham methodology, which I used in the beginning years of my private practice. After much research, I found a more effective and natural approach to teaching reading. EBLI, or Evidence Based Literacy Instruction, is a linguistic, or speech to print, approach that takes away the memorization of rules and the heavy cognitive load that comes with most OG programs. The growth I have seen in my students since switching to EBLI has been astonishing. My EBLI certification, along with my intense passion for helping students, will guarantee your child gets the best instruction possible.
I am married to a very supportive husband and have 3 beautiful children, ages 18, 16, and 14. Together we enjoy road trips, particularly to visit National Parks where we find a fair amount of adventure and a little bit of rest.
