Services
Russell Coaching for Students specialize in helping students with complex ADHD. This may look like a very unmotivated teen who struggles with homework, organization, planning and more. Or it may look like a younger child who struggles with emotional regulation, impulse control, self-control, flexible thinking and more.
Our coaches are experts in providing services to students with multiple diagnoses including, but not limited to: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, Dyslexia, Depression, etc.
Connected Coaching is for students entering 5th grade all the way through young adulthood. Connected Coaching is an individualized coaching experience for complex learners. Our program focuses on Executive Functioning Skills, Social Emotional Skills, Learning and Study Skills, and more depending on the individual client’s strengths and struggles. This program is designed to improve habits, grades, and motivation while decreasing parent supervision and family conflict.
Executive Function Coaching is for students in Elementary School, grades 1-4; it provides direct training and gives our youngest learners a chance to begin developing the foundational skills that will serve as building blocks for higher level growth. Basics of Executive Functioning was created to establish a foundation of Executive Functioning Skills in our younger students. Executive Functioning Skills are skills used everyday to help us manage learning and life. If you would like to learn more about EF Skills, check out our blog posts found here. Deficits in EF can result in struggles at home, school and all areas of life. This program is designed to increase student awareness, introduce skills through games and activities, and work to decrease family conflict.
Why I started the Business
I started Russell Coaching at a time in my parenting journey when I was maxed out, stressed out, and just plain exhausted as the mom of two neurodiverse kids. There was no one to tell me it would be ok and there certainly was no village of support. I saw a critical need for help for parents like me and a niche I knew I could fill with my background in psychology, education, youth development, and parent training. Over the past 14 years, Russell Coaching, with our focus on neurodiverse students, has filled that niche across the country and started expanding across the entire globe, supporting parents and coaching students.

About Me
I am a mom of two neurodiverse kids. I have a background in Psychology, education, and youth development. After recognizing the lack of support for parents like myself, I founded Russell Coaching for Students 14 years ago in an attempt to better serve some of the clients I was seeing. Russell Coaching is now the largest student coaching practice in the US and we see students across the globe. Our expertise is academic and life coaching for complex kids with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Learning Differences, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
Russell Coaching is the culmination of my career, where all the things I’ve learned from my education and experience come together to help parents and students thrive. It’s exciting to me to be offering real help to parents and students through our successful, effective model of coaching, Connected Coaching.
