Words are powerful—God created them so we could share ideas, connect with others, and most importantly, communicate His truth. In this once-a-week ELA course, students will sharpen their reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar skills while remembering that language is one of God’s beautiful gifts to humanity. Each lesson begins with a short Scripture verse or truth to remind us that all learning starts with Him, even when we’re exploring stories, poems, and nonfiction that aren’t directly from the Bible. Some weeks we’ll make a clear connection to a Bible passage, and other weeks we’ll simply enjoy learning the skills God gave us brains to master. As an experienced teacher and homeschool mom, I design every class to be interactive, encouraging, and joy-filled. We explore engaging texts, practice strong writing, and grow in confidence—without overwhelming students or assigning homework. This course is perfect for homeschoolers or Christian families who want consistent, meaningful language arts practice in a low-pressure, uplifting environment.
