Join us for a hands-on camp designing, building, drawing, and painting your own butterfly garden. This camp will encorporate a wide variety of art mediums and experiences leaving students with lots of room for creativity. What to expect: Day 1: Paint the background. Construct the key. Day 2: Draw, paint, and construct the flowers. Prime the key. Day 3: Design and paint the fence. Make painted paper for the leaves. Day 4: Construct the butterflies, bees, and other insects. Assemble the butterfly garden. Join us for an art show the last 15 minutes of class. All materials included. Smocks are provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. Low-temp glue guns are used during this camp. We model and teach our students how to properly use them. Make sure you are aware of our behavior policies for art tools and supplies.
