Learn wheel throwing techniques, such as how to center clay and form basic shapes to create your in this five week class. Each day we will cover a different form ( 1: cups, 2: mugs, 3: bowls, 4: plates and then 5 will be glazing. We will also learn trimming and finishing of pottery pieces. Most participants can expect to make more than one of each form per class. Cost of the class includes the 5 days of instruction, clay, use of all tools, glazes, and firing fees. We have 10 pottery wheels, so class size is limited to that number. Class is best suited for ages 10-15.
