| Where have you taught or what is your background and experience? |
Welcome! My name is Ms. O, I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have taught First Grade for the past four years. Before teaching First Grade, I taught Pre-K for two years. I have been teaching First Grade on Outschool since August of 2021. This past year, I taught STEAM enrichment classes (creative building, engineering, and robotics) for Pre-K to Middle school students and taught Special Needs students in my local school district. My classes are structured and they follow grade-level academic standards. My classes encourage learners to put in their best effort daily. Students grow academically, develop critical thinking skills and a strong work ethic. I maintain high expectations for students, while promoting a positive attitude toward learning!
